It filled in as the spring preparing home of the Houston Astros and their small time offshoots from 1985 to 2016. The stadium holds 5,300 individuals, the littlest seating limit of any Grapefruit League stadium. It has recently filled in as the home field for the Class A Florida State League's Kissimmee Cobras (1995–2000) and Osceola Astros (1985–1994).
The Osceola County Stadium and Complex experienced a huge redesign in 2003 at a cost of US$18.4 million. The remodel expanded seating limit, overhauled the press box, improved the clubhouses, and included "Signature Alley" which is a well known element of spring preparing occasions.
